Deus Ex publisher expects net income to remain steady for full year

Square Enix profits soar to £42m

Earnings for global publishing empire Square Enix have nearly trebled year-on-year to £42 million, the publisher has announced.

Profits for the nine months ending December 31st climbed 175 per cent, £15 million posted in the same period last year, due in part to the outstanding success of Eidos Montreal’s Deus Ex Human Revolution.

Revenue stood at £794 million for the three-quarter stretch.

Square Enix expects year-end profits to stand at £41 million for the entire financial year.
