Star Wars and Marvel in Kingdom Hearts III? ‘Nothing’s off limits’

The co-director and designer of Kingdom Hearts 3 has said that some of Disney’s biggest IP could feature in the upcoming Square Enix RPG.

Well, yeah. They’re all under consideration,” Tai Yasue told Kotaku when asked about the possible inclusion of Star Wars and Marvel characters.

Nothing’s off-limits, we’re considering all of the worlds. There are so many wonderful concepts. We’re happy about that, but at the same time it’s really tough to choose.

Yeah, I can’t go into specifics, but there’s a LOT of new Disney stuff and we have our plates full. There’s a lot to consider – we’re looking at all of Disney, the new ones as well, they have a lot of pull and draw.”

Kingdom Hearts III was announced at E3 2013 as part of the Sony press conference, although it was subsequently confirmed for Xbox One as well as PS4.
