Star Wars + Tiny Tower = Star Wars: Tiny Death Star

Tiny Tower creator NimbleBit has joined forces with Disney for a Star Wars-themed take on the game.

It’s called Star Wars: Tiny Death Star. It sees players constructing floors in the not quite fully armed and operational battle station and will feature a host of recognisable characters.

Live life on the dark side and join Emperor Palpatine and Darth Vader on a mission to attract Galactic bitizens, run intergalactic businesses, and build an all-new Death Star,” the blurb reads.

Construct unique Star Wars themed locations to attract iconic characters and species to your space station in this 8-bit style game. Star Wars: Tiny Death Star will soon be available worldwide.”

On the face of it, Tiny Death Star seems like a great use of the license. And with Tony Tower itself racking up over 10m downloads, it’s clear to see why Disney chose to follow this route.
