Stranglehold goes gold

Midway has announced that upcoming release Stranglehold has gone gold for the Xbox 360.

However,

Eurogamer

reports that the title’s release on the format has been held back a week to September 14th, with the PS3 and PC versions following in September.

Stranglehold was created by acclaimed action filmmaker John Woo as an interactive sequel to cult movie Hard Boiled, which was release in 1992.

It ‘stars’ Chow Yun Fat, who reprises his role as inspector Tequila in the game.
