Kuala Lumpur studio assisting Square Enix with upcoming fantasy blockbuster

Streamline Studios co-developing Final Fantasy XV

Streamline Studios has revealed that it is contributing to the development of Final Fantasy XV.

The developer has been brought in by Square Enix for its experience in triple-A collaborations as well as its proprietary technology Streamframe, a real-time global production platform.

Based in Kuala Lumpur, Stramline has already worked on over 200 blockbuster video games over the past 15 years, including BioShock Infinite, Star Citizen and Street Fighter V. It works on everything from concepts to full in-engine content and builds.

"Our team are big fans of Square Enix and their games, and we’re honoured to have worked with them on the upcoming release of such a cherished series as Final Fantays," said CEO Alexander L Fernandez.

"We look forward to applying our years of production experience and state-of-the-art technology Streamframe to this new collaboration."
