The Force Unleashed II dated

Star Wars: The Force Unleashed II will be released on October 26th.

The release date was revealed by the game’s official Facebook page yesterday, with a status update reading: May The Fourth by with you, since it will be Unleashed Oct 26th, 2010!”

Given that the date is a Tuesday, it’s unclear whether this is a US or global release date, but more on the game is sure to be revealed in the coming months.

The Force Unleashed II was first announced at last year’s Spike TV Video Game Awards, but few details have been given since.

The original Force Unleashed, released in 2008, is the fastest-selling Star Wars game of all time and has sold more than 7m units worldwide.
