Thief reboot heading to Xbox One

It was a no brainer, but it’s still nice to hear confirmation: Square Enix’s new Thief game will released for the next Xbox.

The reinvention of the classic PC stealth franchise was announced earlier this year for PS4, PC and "other next generation consoles". Finally, we can stop pussy-footing around that particular terminology.

The game is currently in development at Eidos Montreal, the studio behind Deus Ex: Human Revolution. It is due for release on all three platforms in 2014.

Square Enix has promised to show off more from the game at E3.
