THQ dates Red Faction 3

Publisher THQ has revealed that its upcoming FPS sequel Red Faction: Guerrilla will be released on Xbox 360, PS3 and PC on June 9th in North America, according to Shacknews.

No European date has been announced as of yet, though a June 12th release is now likely.

Volition’s title once again centres the series on destructible environments, but the processing power of today’s gaming machines should lead to a far more varied experience than was seen in its PS2 incarnation. It also ditches a rigid game structure in favour of an open-world approach.

THQ has previously announced that a demo of the game will be made available later this month.
