Tokyo Game Show sets new attendance record

More people attended last week’s Tokyo Game Show than in any previous year of the popular expo.

Gematsu reports that a total of 270,197 people were welcomed through the doors between September 19th-22nd, beating last year’s attendance record of 223,753.

September 22nd was the busiest day, with 115,444 people trumping last year’s final day figure of 94,980.

Next year’s event is scheduled to take place between September 18th-21st.
