Total War: Shogun 2 Gold Edition revealed for North America and Europe

Sega has announced the Total War: Shogun 2 Gold Edition, a bundling of the base game and its two expansions set to land in North America and Europe this March.

The upcoming definitive offering of Creative Assembly’s critically acclaimed 2011 PC strategy title will launch at select retailers Stateside on March 5th, and then cross the pond with a beefier version on March 8th.

Both versions will carry all content Total War: Shogun 2 and its expansions, but Europe’s edition will also boast ten additional content packs, includingthe Dragon War Battle Pack, Saints and Heroes Elite Unit Pack, Sengoku Jidai Elite Unit Pack, and seven clan packs.

A limited number of special editions, wrapped in packaging inspired by Japanese lacquered wood, will be made available in Europe and Australia as well.
