Tradewest goes digital

European games publisher Tradewest has established a new affiliate company, Tradewest Digital.

The new firm will focus on developing, publishing and distribution downloadable games for consoles, PC, mobiles and browsers.

Tradewest Digital’s first title will be released just before Christmas. No details are available yet, but the company will be announcing its full line-up for the next twelve months shortly.

The launch of Tradewest Digital has been a very exciting project for me personally,” said CEO Martin Spiess. Especially with the rise of sophisticated mobile gaming devices and the sheer number of them out there creates a lot of great opportunities for us.

Since Tradewest Digital is set up as a classic B2C business, our titles will greatly benefit from the direct access and dialog with our consumers. Our goal is to create a well-balanced portfolio to cater to the taste of this very large audience and deliver to them simply great entertainment.”
