Transformers: Rise of the Dark Spark unveiled

Activision and Hasbro have officially announced Transformers: Rise of the Dark Spark.

The game appeared on retail listings last week but has now been confirmed for release on PS4, Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS3, Wii U, 3DS and PC.

The Examiner reports that it will blend the universes and visual styles of previous Cybertron (War for, Fall of) games and Michael Bay’s Transformers films. The trailer below sees Autobot leader Optimus Prime in both Cybertron and Bay guises.

The game is not being developed by High Moon Studios, however, with Mass Effect and Dragon Age studio Edge of Reality handling development duties. The 3DS version, however, is a standalone development being handled by Way Forward.
