Triple-A games line-up revealed for EIF 07

Unreal Tournament, Assassin’s Creed and BioShock are also set to feature at The Edinburgh Interactive Games Screenings on Tuesday August 14th at the Odeon Cinema on Lothian Road.

Alongside the games line-up, students will be able to sample the action and get advice on how to get into the games industry thanks to a panel of experts headed up by Rebecca Thompson.

The Edinburgh Interactive Festival gives gamers their only chance to see the latest games for PC and console weeks or months before they hit the market,” said Brian Baglow, Edinburgh Interactive Festival 2007 screenings director. They also get to chance to meet some of the people behind the biggest games in the world and find out more about the strange industry that creates hits like Grand Theft Auto, The Sims and Halo.”

EIF will run over two days from Monday 13th August with conferences at the Royal College of Physicians, Queen Street and the The Odeon. The Digital Interactive Symposium , in association with Dare to be Digital, follows EIF on Wednesday 15th at Edinburgh University.
