VIDEO: Call of Duty: Black Ops III tease sets the stage for upcoming shooter

Activision has released a live-action short that lays out the premise for this year’s Call of Duty instalment.

Black Ops III will be set some 50 or so years in the future at a time when man is struggling with the morality and social impact of biological implants, prosthetics and enhancements. In truth it all looks very Deus Ex.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 deploys players into a dark, twisted future where a new breed of Black Ops soldier emerges and the lines are blurred between our own humanity and the technology we created to stay ahead, in a world where cutting-edge military robotics define warfare,” the official blurb says.

Treyarch’s game is due out in November, with more details to be revealed at the weekend.
