The PR battleplan may have been a real clanger, but last night Epic Games managed to excite a large portion of the core market by revealing its Gears of War 3 project.
As a testament to the influence of the Gears brand, Epic design director Cliff Bleszinski took to live US TV to show the game for the first time officially.
As a guest on Jimmy Fallon’s Late Night show, Bleszinski preambled what was a trailer video of the popular action game, which can be found below.
Gears of War 3 is pencilled in for April 2011.
