VIDEO: Microsoft’s shows off Xbox One’s slick UI

The Xbox One’s Kinect-controlled UI is the focus of a new video from Microsoft.

It starts with the assertion that the clip was recorded on November 1st using live Xbox One code – thereby disproving the unfounded rumours recently doing the rounds claiming that Microsoft was struggling with the console’s interface.

It then shows Yusuf Mehdi and Marc Whitten using a host of functions and effortlessly switching between applications using voice commands.

There’s some other cool stuff, such as the way Skype follows you as you move around the room (by using software and not moving the camera, apparently) or the easy with which users can upload game clips.
