VIDEO: Tomb Raider returns in March 2013

Square Enix’s reboot of Lara Croft’s adventures will be released worldwide on March 5th, 2013.

The launch date was revealed at the end of a new gameplay trailer released to coincide with E3. You can check out the sneaky, bloodied, deer-hunting, rock-crumbling goodness for yourself below.

Tomb Raider was originally due on shelves this coming autumn, but was delayed last month to a 2013 release to give the developers time for extra polishing.

The game is currently in development for Xbox 360, PS3, and PC. It reimagines Lara’s first adventure, trapping her on a mysterious island.

It is expected to be shown off during Microsoft’s press conference on Monday.
