Wasteland 2 to miss August launch window

Upcoming post-apocalyptic RPG Wasteland 2 has suffered a slight delay, developer InXile Entertainment has announced.

Series creator Brian Fargo posted a new Kickstarter update to backers explaining that the game will now "likely" arrive in September, instead of it’s originally planned August launch.

"It’s pretty likely that we will slip into the first or second week in September due to fulfillment of the physical goods and discs," Fargo said.

Fargo added that InXile will provide a specific release date "as soon as we know it."Whenever it arrives, the $2.9m crowdfunding success will land on PC, Mac and Linux platforms.
