Who’s up for a BAFTA?

Sony, Rockstar, Microsoft and Activision will go head-to-head at this year’s GAME British Academy Video Games Awards.

BAFTA announced its full list of nominations last week ahead of the March 10th awards ceremony at the London Hilton on Park Lane. The event is being held in association with GAME and will be hosted by stand-up comedian Dara O’Briain.

Activision’s highly acclaimed Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare leads the charge with seven nominations, while Grand Theft Auto IV, Dead Space, Fable II and LittleBigPlanet are also up for multiple awards. Movie director Steven Spielberg could also claim his first video game award, with Wii puzzler Boom Blox nominated in the casual games category.
