Xbox 360 prices slashed in US

A host of retailers have slashed $50 off the price of the Xbox 360 in the US.

It comes at a time when PS3 is available for a record-low sub-160 in the UK, thanks to the launch of the 12GB model. Though that could all be a coincidence, of course.

Joystiq reports that GameStop, Best Buy, Kmart, Target and Amazon have all slashed $50 off the price of the 250GB and 4GB Kinect Xbox 360 hardware bundles.

An assortment of various titles are included in the deal, such as The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, Fable 3, Halo: Reach and Forza 4.

MCV has contacted Microsoft to see if the discounts will be mirrored on this side of the Atlantic.
