Zelda and Modern Warfare 2 trailers go live

Though traditionally GDC has not been a platform from which big-hitting titles are announced, Nintendo bucked the trend yesterday with its announcement of new DS title The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks.

The name immediately suggested a title either based on music that’s good to drink to or paranormal trains. Turns out it’s the latter.

Not much is known of the game as yet, though the trailer below shows that it’s visually reminiscent of Wind Waker, but with the sailing elements replaced by a new train theme.

Also available below is the first trailer for Activision Blizzard’s highly anticipated FPS sequel Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, or Call of Duty 6 if you prefer. The clip is light on gameplay, but still proves a tantalising taster of what is bound to be one of the year’s biggest hits.

Both videos can be seen below the ad.
