Ramsdale joins Testronic as COO

Former EA Europe VP Keith Ramsdale has been unveiled as the new chief operating officer of QA and localisation firm Testronic.

Ramdale was made EA’s UK MD in 2005 before stepping up to his former European role in 2008. He left the publisher in May 2015. At Testronic he will oversee what is expected to be a period of expansion. The company already employs over 600 staff.

This is a great opportunity for me, particularly given that the company is on such an impressive growth path,” Ramsdale said. Testronic is incredibly well respected within the games business and boasts some of the very biggest names in the industry on its client roster.

I’m very much looking forward to working with [CEO of parent Catalis Group] Dominic Wheatley and the team. There is a dynamism within the business that is both professional and fun, and I look forward to working within such an entrepreneurial environment.”

Wheatley added: The appointment of Keith is a great coup for us. His experience and reputation within the entertainment industry is second to none; we’re delighted that he’s joining us at a time when Testronic’s business is enjoying an upwards trajectory, and at an exciting point for the Catalis Group as a whole.”
