Release date set for Total War: Rome II

Sega’s Total War: Rome II has a firm Q3 release date.

The Creative Assembly developed title will be released worldwide on PC both digitally and physically on September 3rd.

Pre-orderers will get the game’s first DLC, the Greek States Culture Pack, for free on the same day.

A Collector’s Edition has also been revealed that will be limited to 22,000 individually numbered copies manufactured in a single run.

It comes with a host of goodies including a Steelbook case, a canvas map, a Roman board game (!) called Tabula, some dice, a card game and, most brilliantly, a kit to build a 26cm long replica siege catapult called an Onager.
