RETAIL BIZ: Ben 10 boosts PSP market

D3P’s Ben 10: Alien Force: Vilgax Attacks has proved there’s still plenty of life left in Sony’s handheld by debuting at the top of the PSP charts.

The game is the first new entry to grab the No.1 spot of the PSP Top 10 in its debut week since EA’s FIFA 10 was released at the beginning of October.

Sony’s SOCOM: US Navy Seals Fireteam Bravo 3 also managed a Top 10 position in its first week, coming in tenth.

While the Xbox 360 and DS editions of Vilgax Attacks failed to place in their respective Top 10s, the game also launched in fourth of the Wii’s full-price Top 10.

Collectively, the newest Ben 10 titles just missed out on a Top 10 position in the ELSPA GfK Chart-Track All Formats Charts, debuting at No.13.
