Star Trek Online has debuted at the top of the PC charts, dethroning Mass Effect 2.

The Cryptic-developed Atari MMORPG knocked BioWare’s sequel down to No.3, as well as fending off the newest entry from the popular S.T.A.L.K.E.R franchise with Call Of Pripyat settling for fourth place.

Due to strong sales of the Xbox 360 version, Star Trek Online failed to topple Mass Effect 2 in the All Formats Top 40.

It also missed out on a Top 10 position, debuting at No.11, but outsold all but one of this week’s new entries. Dante’s Inferno was the only new release to place higher, taking fourth place.
