Retail release confirmed for Killer Instinct on Xbox One

Xbox One fighting outing Killer Instinct is making the switch from digital to retail.

The game was a launch title for Microsoft’s machine but has until now only been available digitally. However, a boxed release in the US is confirmed along with a discount $19.99 price and September 23rd release date in the US.

It will go under the name Killer Instinct: Combo Breaker Pack all include all eight of the fighters available in the game’s ‘Season 1′ – Jago, Sabrewulf, Glacius, Thunder, Sadira, Orchid, Spinal, and Fulgore.

Also included is a code for one fighter from Season 2 – TJ Combo. Season 2 is currently scheduled to hit later this year.
