Risen 2 console version delayed

Deep Silver has announced a delay for the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions of their pirate RPG Risen 2.

Console owners will have to wait until July31st in US/Canada and August 3rd in Europe for the semi-open world title. The title was originally to arrive this week for the two consoles as well as PC.

To make up for the release date adjustment, Deep Silver is rolling in an extra episode entitled The Air Temple” on both delayed platforms. The sub-plot packs several additional hours of gameplay according to the developer.

The company added the PC version is still on target for its April 27th release, having already gone into production.
