Rockstar confirms Grand Theft Auto Online reveal this Thursday

Some big news from the world of Grand Theft Auto is arriving later this week.

Rockstar has sent out a teaser to the press simply stating that Grand Theft Auto Online will be announced on Thursday August 15th.

Look for the world premiere of the official GTA Online Gameplay Video as well as coverage of first press previews,” it adds.

Note the title used here – not Grand Theft Auto V Online or Grand Theft Auto 5 online. Just Grand Theft Auto Online.

Could we be in-line for a standalone release? If so, will it be current or next-gen? Which gameworld will it be set in? Will it be released on PC? Will it be free-to-play? Will it be a MOBA? Will it feature Terry Wogan?
