Rooney and Wilshere named as FIFA 12 cover stars

Arsenal and England midfielder Jack Wilshere has revealed via Twitter that both he and Manchester United and England team mate Wayne Rooney will feature on the cover of FIFA 12.

Rooney is an old-hand at the FIFA cover game, with this being his seventh successive appearance on the game’s box.

Some questions had been asked of his inclusion this year, however, following the sex scandal that dogged the striker last season.

The pair will front the game in the UK, Ireland, Scandinavia and Middle East.

FIFA 12 will be released on every platform you’ve ever imaged on September 30th in the UK.
