Samsung unveiled curved-screen smartphone

Ever wished your smartphone screen was less flat? Then rejoice, as Samsung’s latest smartphone gimmick will likely be of huge appeal.

The freshly revealed Galaxy Round certainly boasts an eye-catching USP – 5.7-inch OLED its screen is curved.

Inside is 3GB of RAM, 32GB of storage and a 2.3GHz quad core processor.

The pitch is that the curved screen makes the phone more comfortable to hold. Plus it does this thing where if you have it laid on the table and you press the edge to make it roll towards you it will display the time and date.

So far Samsung has only confirmed the device for South Korea, where it will be carried by SK Telecom.
