Save the date: the Women in Games Awards return in June

Mark your calendar: this June, we’ll once again be celebrating the priceless contribution women make to the UK games industry as our annual Women in Games Awards will be returning on Friday, June 28th. Once again, the afternoon ceremony will be held at Facebook’s London HQ off Oxford Street and we’re already looking forward to seeing you there!

This is now the fifth annual outing for the awards, with MCV committed to recognising the huge contribution made by women in the games industry every single year. Last year’s event was a huge success and we’re looking forward to this year’s event being even better still.

As well as Facebook’s crucial role in making this event happen, OPM Jobs has already confirmed its support, once again as a sponsor for the Career Mentor of the Year Award, while Gamescom is our first Event Partner.

As in previous years, the event remains free to attend for all those on the shortlists plus their guests, something that would not be possible without the support of industry partners. Due to the venue capacity, additional tickets will be by invitation only. For information on how your company can get involved in this year’s event please contact MCV’s Alex Boucher.
