Scottish game dev Stewart Hogarth has passed away

News has emerged that Scottish games developer Stewart Hogarth has sadly passed away.

Gamasutrareports that Stewart was fighting congenital heart disease right up until Tuesday, September 15th. He was just 34 years old.

Stewart was known to much of the Scottish games community, having worked at firms such as Denki and Chunk. He branched out as a freelance and independent games developer in 2011.

In 2013, he founded Smiling Bag Games and made a series of games independently, including I Am Level and Tile Temple Tactics. He also regularly took part in local games jams.
