Scribblenauts Unmasked swoops in this September

The crossover between Warner Bros’ popular Scribblenauts series and the DC Comics universe has been given a release date.

Scribblenauts Unmasked: A DC Comics Adventure will be released for Wii U, 3DS and PC on September 27th, three days after its US debut on September 24th, according to VG247.

The game challenges players with the usual Scribblenauts formula: summoning any object or creature they can think of to solve puzzles simply by typing in what they wish to summon.

In addition to the usual weapons, gadgets and animals, Unmasked allows players to call in various superheroes and villains, including Superman, Wonder Woman, Batman and The Joker.

Scribblenauts Unmasked was first announced in May.

There’s still no word on the previously announced Wii U title Scribblenauts Unlimited, which was delayed just days before release earlier this year.
