Second Halo Reach DLC confirmed

Microsoft has officially confirmed the second DLC for Xbox 360 shooter Halo Reach.

Called the Defiant Map pack, the download will arrive at an unspecified point in March and will cost 800 Microsoft Points.

The content was created "in partnership" with Certain Affinity, whose other credits include the multiplayer components of titles such as Call of Duty: Black Ops, Call of Duty: World at War, Left 4 Dead and Halo 2.

More notable, though, is the fact that this DLC has not been made by Bungie, and is instead the creation of Microsoft’s 343 Industries.

The download will contain three maps – Condemned (based on Orbital Station Gamma), Highlands ( a military wilderness training preserve) and Unearthed (a large titanium mine and refinery). The latter is designed for the Firefight game mode.
