Second iPhone 4 prototype surfaces

Though the discovery of a prototype version of Apple’s upcoming fourth iteration of the iPhone landed tech blog Gizmodo in legal hotwater, that doesn’t seem to have stopped a Vietnamese site (which has seemingly since been removed) publishing further pictures of the secretive device.

As spotted by Engadget, the device appears remarkably similar to the one obtained by Gizmodo. In fact, some of the rougher edges in the older version – such as the two protruding screws at the bottom – have been removed, suggesting this new model is a more refined prototype.

The appearance of such a similar model very much indicates that we could indeed be looking at a near final design for Apple’s next iPhone, which is expected to be revealed to the world on June 22nd.
