Skylanders iPhone game heads to retail

There are two Skylanders mobile games in the works, and one is even heading to the High Street.

The Skylanders Battlegrounds Starter Pack includes a special wireless Bluetooth Portal of Power that ‘brings figures to life’ on iOS, and three physical characters: Jet Vac, Series 2 Cynder and Double Trouble as well as a Platinum Treasure Chest, which features extra digital items to be used in Skylanders Battlegrounds.

The other game – Skylanders Lost Islands – can also use the physical toys. The title is a resource management game, challenging fans to rebuild and customize their own version of ‘Skylands’.

The two new titles joins the existing iOS title, Cloud Patrol, which has also received a significant update.
