Sniper: Ghost Warrior 2 delayed

Namco Bandai has pushed back the European release of Sniper: Ghost Warrior 2 to October.

Eurogamer reports the distributor has confirmed the new release date of City Interactive’s stealth shooter sequel.Following previous delays the game was set to launch on August 21st for PS3, Xbox 360, and PC, but is now due out on October 9th.

It’s unclear whether the US release will be delayed as well, as Namco Bandai onlyrepresents the UK distributor for Sniper: Ghost Warrior 2.

Sniper: Ghost Warrior sold over 2m units worldwide as of December of last year.
