Sonic Mania Collector’s Edition is coming to the UK

UK and European gamers who feared they might miss out on the retro-tastic Collector’s Edition of Sonic Mania are in for some good news.

Sega has confirmed a release for the SKU in the UK, France, Germany and Spain in spring 2017. It will be an Amazon exclusive and costs 79.99

Included in the box will be a 12-inch Sonic statue standing atop of an accurate model of the Sega Mega Drive console. It even plays the famous ‘Sega’ jingle when the power button is pressed. There’s also replica cartridge and gold ring, a collector’s card and a game download code.

Sonic Mania itself promises 2D side-scrolling platforming at 60 frames per second. It’s coming out on PS4, Xbox One and PC.
