Sony DADC opens in Paris

The disc production arm of platform holder Sony has opened a new distribution facility near Paris – further expanding its European manufacturing infrastructure.

The new 20,000 square metre facility located at Moissy Cramayel will boost Sony’s infrastructure in France, allowing more efficient disc manufacture and distribution to retailers. The new site complements current distribution divisions in London, Frankfurt and Madrid – all run from Salzberg – and will help strengthen Sony software operations across Europe.

In recent years, Sony DADC has invested heavily to create a pan-European supply chain network,” said MD of Sony DADC France Camille Magro.

France is one of our key markets. With this new logistics centre we can offer a blend of experience and customised IT solutions which minimise time to market and maximise flexibility for our French customers.”
