SONY: PS4 launches at £349 this Christmas

PlayStation 4 will be released for 349 this Christmas, Sony has announced.

The price and launch window were revealed during the platform holder’s E3 press conference by Sony Computer Entertainment CEO and President Andrew House.

It will cost $399 in the United States and €399 in Europe.

"It’s a very compelling price that offers incredible value given the entertainment PS4 will offer users over the next decade and beyond," said House.

"True consumer ownership and consumer trust are essential to everything we do. With each new platform we do everything we can to earn that trust."
