Sony has announced the release date for PlayStation 4 – November 29th
That’s the European date. It will hit US shelves a little earlier on November 15th,
The home console will arrive in the same month as Xbox One, although Microsoft has yet to date its machine. It sets November up as potentially the biggest month for video games retail.
The announcement came at the close of Sony’s pre-Gamescom press conference. The event was filled with a plethora of quirkly and independently-developed titles for PS Vita and PS4.
