Square signs game from Portal co-creator

Former Valve designer and the co-creator of Portal Kim Swift has had her new game signed up by publisher Square Enix.

The game itself has not been revealed, though more details about the "incredibly fascinating and quirky" title are expected to be released this weekend, Eurogamer reports.

What is known is that it’s being developed by Dark Void creators Airtight Games.

In her time at Valve Swift created a title called Narbacular Drop, which is said to have provided the direct inspiration for Portal. Other credits to her name include Left 4 Dead 2.
