Steam top ten sellers chart: December 21-27

Counter-Strike: Global Offensive has emerged the victor in Steam’s best sellers chart for the last full week of 2014, beating out Far Cry 4 for the top spot during the digital distributor’s ongoing end of the year sale.

Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor, Skyrim and South Park: The Stick of Truth round out the top five. Skyrim and Counter-Strike: Global Offensive specifically always seem to be somewhere on the list during Valve’s biggest promotional periods, and this time was no different.

Other chart regulars to breakthrough this week include DayZ, Garry’s Mod and Payday 2. Here’s the full list (note that each title carried one or more significant discounts for the period):

  1. Counter-Strike: Global Offensive
  2. Far Cry 4
  3. Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor
  4. Skyrim – Legendary Edition
  5. South Park: The Stick of Truth
  6. DayZ
  7. Arma 3
  8. Garry’s Mod
  9. Payday 2
  10. Lords of the Fallen
