Steam top ten sellers chart: July 8-14

Valve has revealed the top selling titles for the week prior, with the first three days of the Steam Summer Sale figuring in quite a bit.

ArmA II still grabs the top spot despite being just 20 per cent off for the initial days of the sale. The rest of the titles and bundles on the list including the runner-up Max Payne 3 have seen much steeper cuts.

For the unaware, Steam has a couple of massive discount promotions every year where nearly every game in the catalog is available at minor (20-33 per cent) to major (50-90 per cent) price reductions. The sales period usually lasts for around two weeks, and contains a revolving door of deep discounts on games throughout.

As you can imagine the flood gates really open up around this time. That in mind, here’s the breakdown:

  1. Arma II
  2. Max Payne 3
  3. The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
  4. Portal 2
  5. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3
  6. Left 4 Dead 2
  7. The Bethesda Collection
  8. Anno 2070
  9. The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings Enhanced Edition and Payday: The Heist
  10. Saints Row: The Third and Alan Wake Franchise Collection and Civilization V: Gods and Kings
