Tandem Events is looking for coding speaker sessions for Develop:Brighton

Tandem Events is looking for more speakers for its coding track at Develop:Brighton, and is inviting programmers at all levels of the games industry to submit content proposals before its February deadline.

Develop:Brighton’s coding track puts a focus on the technical side of game development, and is about programmers sharing their unique knowledge and expertise with one another, including sharing case studies and explorations of technologies both new and well worn in.

Talks presented on the coding track are largely intended to cover the real-life challenges of game programmers actively working in the industry, which is quite a varied thing to cover.

Suggested topics for coding talks include, but are not limited to:

  • Coding case study of your game
  • Engineering machine learning
  • C++, Unreal and Unity case studies
  • USD as an open standard for asset creation & pipelines
  • Developing for Apple VisionPro
  • Rendering “anatomy of a frame”
  • AI in game coding

Those that are asked to deliver a speaker session at the conference following their proposal will receive a complimentary pass to the conference. They will also receive support and various publicity opportunities from Tandem, both as an individual and for their studio.

Speaker submissions will be open until February 29, 2024. If you’d like to submit an advanced coding talk for consideration before then, or would like to find out more information, you should go ahead and click-through to the Develop:Brighton website.
