Temple Run sprints past 100m downloads

Temple Run has surpassed 100m downloads on iOS and Android just one year following its debut on the App Store.

The free-to-play endless action mobile title has racked up 68m and 32m downloads on iOS and Android respectively.

To celebrate, the developer has released all of its previous games for free download, along with adding a new Temple Run update adding retina display support for iPad.

We never imagined that the game we were making and loved would be so well received around the world,” said Keith Shepherd, co-founder of Imangi Studios. The last year has been incredible for us, and we are grateful to fans of the game. We hope to be able to provide them with more entertainment from the brand for years to come.”

In June, Imangi launched a Temple Run: Brave crossover effort with Disney-Pixar which quickly found its way onto app store charts and has since remained there.
