Ed Fear is currently the lead writer at London-based studio Mediatonic, where he has penned the plot behind Heavenstrike Rivals and assisted with the translation of pigeon dating sim Hatoful Boyfriend. Rhianna Pratchett, meanwhile, is the multi-award winning author behind Overlord, Mirror’s Edge and the acclaimed Tomb Raider reboots.
Mere hours after their talk at Develop:Brighton, they joined editors Chris Dring and James Batchelor to discuss the delicate art of comedy, pacing and creating tension in video games, engaging players with the narrative behind MMOs and large online games, and more.
