There’s a Rock Band VR game coming to Oculus Rift

After bringing its Rock Band franchise back this year, Harmonix is now set to launch the IP on Oculus Rift.

The firm has announced that Rock Band will be launching on the Oculus Rift headset next year.

Harmonix debuted a trailer (below) for the game at last night’s The Game Awards – which saw a slew of announcements and reveals. The video features UK metal band DragonForce – famous for the infamously tough song Through Fire and Flames – teaching the guys from Oculus how to be true rock stars.

The game sees players controlling a floating guitar from a first-person perspective – similar to the style that rival Guitar Hero adopted for this year’s Guitar Hero Live.
