Think youre the trades best PES player?

Following the success of the inaugural

PES/MCV Industry Cup

in October, the PES/MCV Industry Rankings league is about to get underway – with an official date also named for the first offline tournament.

PES Rankings is already a hugely successful competitive online community, with over 40,000 players. Konami has now teamed up with MCV to create a ‘fenced off’ industry section, where retailers, rival publishers, manufacturers, distributors and the media can battle against each other in scheduled matches and an organised league to see who’s the greatest PES player in the games business over the course of a season.

To enter, contact mcv@pesrankings.com.

If you sign up before Christmas, you could well be invited to the first ever PES Industry Rankings Offline Tournament, which takes place at the Rex Cinema on the evening of January 24th.

32 players will compete head-to-head with some incredible goodies up for grabs, including prizes from our other sponsors, Play.com, Xbox 360 and Cobra beer.

Konami’s marketing executive Samantha Leigh told MCV: The PES/MCV Industry Cup was a great night, but it was just the start of an online Industry Rankings competition that will really prove which players are top of the league material.

Together with MCV, we’re inviting all of you to sign up and join in – and we’re adding some spice by staging regular offline gaming nights where the top players will get together for some real knockout nights.”
