THQ netted $6.55m from final IP sale

The financial terms of the final round of THQ’s IP auctions has been divulged.

Nordic’s swoop for a host of IP including Darksiders, Red Faction and Destroy All Humans was valued at $4.9m. Gearbox, meanwhile, paid a not insignificant $1.35m for the Homeworld IP.

Also confirmed was the sale of nearly all assets related to Drawn to Life and Drawn to Life: The Next Chapter for $301,000.

That represents a total of $6.55m for the now defunct publisher.

A motion to approve the sales was first filed with the bankruptcy court on April 22nd. The deals are expected to be finalised on May 13th.
